Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw remains atop Box-Toppers weekly player rankings for the fourth straight week.

Meanwhile, the Box-Toppers points leader among American League batters changed since last week as Aaron Judge of the Yankees has retaken the lead from Miguel Sano of the Twins.

What are those numbers after players' names?

Kershaw has 10.7 Box-Toppers points, his same total as last week. He leads second-place player, Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer (10.0 Box-Toppers points). Kershaw also leads Scherzer among National League pitchers.

Here are the leaders in other key categories:

American League batters—Aaron Judge of the Yankees (6.5 Box-Toppers points) regains the lead from last week’s leader, Miguel Sano of the Twins, who is now second with 5.5 points. Judge ranks eighth among all players, the only batter among Box-Toppers overall top 10 players.

American League pitchers—Ervin Santana of the Twins remains in first place with 9.4 Box-Toppers points, his same total as last week. Second-place player is Chris Sale of the Red Sox (8.4). Santana ranks third among all players.

National League batters—Bryce Harper of the Nationals remains the leader among NL batters with 6.0 Box-Toppers points (his same total as last week), ahead of second-place player Travis Shaw of the Brewers (4.5). Harper ranks 13th among all players.

So far this season, 447 different players have earned Box-Toppers Player of the Game honors. There are 151 players who have more than 2.0 Box-Toppers points. There are 55 players who have made their Box-Toppers debut so far this season, the first time in their career they earned Player of the Game honors. Four players debuted during the past week.

Using standard box score statistics, Box-Toppers uses a simple formula to determine a Player of the Game for each Major League Baseball game played. That player is the person who contributed most to his team’s win. In regular season games, players earn 1.0 Box-Toppers point for being named Player of the Game and can earn bonus points for being Player of the Day or top player or batter in their league for the day.

Box-Toppers tracks who most helps their team win the most games. Using standard box score statistics, Box-Toppers uses a simple formula to determine a Player of the Game for each Major League Baseball game played. That player is the person who contributed most to his team’s win. Players earn Box-Toppers points for being named Player of the Game and can earn bonus points for being Player of the Day or top player or batter in their league for the day.
