Phillies players have accumulated 96.5 Box-Toppers points this season, picking up 2.0 points in the past week. The Phillies lead over the second-place San Diego Padres (91.4 points) by 5.1 points. The Phillies also lead National League teams ahead of the Padres.
The Phillies have baseball’s fourth-best winning percentage (.587), behind the Cleveland Guardians (.595), Baltimore Orioles (.590) and New York Yankees (.590). The Guardians are 10th in Box-Toppers rankings with 83.6 points, the Orioles are third with 91.1 points and the Yankees are fourth with 90.8 points.
The Phillies are led by pitcher Zack Wheeler (16.7 points, third overall and second among NL pitchers). Phillies top batter is Bryce Harper (7.7 points, third among NL batters). Twenty-one different Phillies players have earned Box-Toppers points in 2024.
Orioles lead AL teams
The Baltimore Orioles lead American League teams for the second straight week with 91.1 points, picking up 4.0 points in the past week, and rank third overall.
The Orioles lead AL teams ahead of the second-place New York Yankees (90.8 points). The Orioles are tied with the Yankees for the second-highest winning percentage among all teams (.590), behind the Cleveland Guardians (.595).
The Orioles are led by pitcher Corbin Burnes (8.7 points, 43rd overall and 21st among AL pitchers). Orioles top batter is Ryan Mountcastle (8.0 points, fourth among AL batters). Thirty different Orioles players have earned Box-Toppers points in 2024.
Hottest team: Diamondbacks
The Arizona Diamondbacks are the hottest team in the past week, picking up 7.2 points in the past week, most among all teams, rising from 11th to ninth place in team rankings with 84.0 points.
The Diamondbacks won all six of their games this week.
Biggest jump: Padres, Athletics
Two teams each rose three spots in Box-Toppers team rankings this week, tied for the biggest jump:

Two teams each fell three spots in Box-Toppers team rankings this week, tied for the biggest fall:
The Kansas City Royals fell from third to sixth place with 89.2 Box-Toppers points, picking up 3.5 in the past week.
The New York Mets fell from ninth to 12th place with 82.0 Box-Toppers points, picking up 2.0 in the past week.
Net loss: Nationals and Angels
Two teams had net losses in points this week after cutting ties with players who had earned 2024 Box-Toppers points:
The Washington Nationals had a net decline of 0.5 points, moving to 56.7 points for the season, falling from 22nd to 24th overall. This week, the Nationals gained 3.5 points in three wins, but released batter Harold Ramirez, who had 4.0 Box-Toppers points this season, 2.5 earned with the Rays and 1.5 points with the Nationals.
The Los Angeles Angels had a net decline of 1.5 points, moving to 50.6 points for the season, falling from 25th to 27th overall. This week, the Angels gained 1.0 point in one win, but designated for assignment batter Willie Calhoun, who had earned 2.5 points with the team this season.
Last place: White Sox
The Chicago White Sox remain in 30th and last place for the 11th week with 25.9 Box-Toppers points, picking up 1.5 points in the past week.
