Pirates pitcher Mitch Keller is Wednesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Also Wednesday, two players rise in Box-Toppers season player rankings top 10 list after both earn Player of the Game honors: Astros pitcher Hunter Brown rises to third place and Padres pitcher Nick Pivetta rises to fourth place.

In addition Wednesday, Seiya Suzuki of the Cubs rises to first place among National League batters and Riley Greene of the Tigers extends his lead among American League batters.

Player of the Day

Keller struck out seven over seven scoreless innings, allowing five hits and one walk, in the 5-0 win over the Cardinals.

Keller earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 4.7 for the season, 82nd among all players and 31st among NL pitchers.

American League Player of the Day is Rangers pitcher Nathan Eovaldi.

American League Player of the Day

Rangers pitcher Nathan Eovaldi struck out five over five scoreless innings, allowing two hits and one walk, in the 6-0 win over the Orioles.

Eovaldi earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being AL Player of the Day, giving him 6.7 for the season, 17th among AL pitchers.

American League Batter of the Day is Riley Greene of the Tigers.

National League Batter of the Day is Christian Encarnacion-Strand of the Reds.
