Giants pitcher Hayden Birdsong is Box-Toppers Player of the Day in Sunday’s spring training games.
Other Player of the Game winners Sunday include Blue Jays pitcher José Berríos, Padres pitcher Dylan Cease, Red Sox pitcher Garrett Crochet, Hunter Renfroe of the Royals and Andruw Monasterio of the Brewers.

Imanaga struck out 10 over seven innings, allowing one run, two hits and one walk, in the 2-1, 10-inning win over the Diamondbacks. Imanaga did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because the Cubs trailed when he exited.
