Mariners pitcher Bryce Miller is Saturday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Also Saturday, Aaron Judge of the Yankees increases his lead among American League batters in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors for the second straight day.

Player of the Day

Miller struck out nine over six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and one walk, in the 9-0 win over the Angels.

Miller earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 6.7 for the season, 15th among all players and eighth among AL pitchers.

National League Player of the Day is Phillies pitcher Spencer Turnbull.

Phillies pitcher Spencer Turnbull struck out six over three hitless, scoreless innings of middle relief, allowing no walks, in the 6-1 win over the Cardinals.

Turnbull earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being NL Player of the Day, giving him 6.4 for the season, 20th among all players and 10th among NL pitchers.

American League Batter of the Day is Miguel Andujar of the Athletics.

Miguel Andujar of the Athletics hit a three-run home run and went 4-for-5, scoring three times and driving in four runs, in the 11-9 win over the Braves.

National League Batter of the Day is Seiya Suzuki of the Cubs.

Seiya Suzuki of the Cubs hit a grand slam, tripled and went 2-for-4, scoring once and driving in four runs, in the 7-5 win over the Reds.

Judge (HR 2-3 2R 2BI in the 7-3 win over the Giants) earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 6.5 for the season, 19th among all players and first among AL batters, ahead of second-place Juan Soto of the Yankees (5.5).
