Rodríguez earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being NL Player of the Day, his first points of the season, and is 91st among NL pitchers.
Rodríguez recorded a +9.0 Box-Toppers game score Monday, same as another Player of the Game winner, Orioles pitcher Trevor Rogers. But Rogers won overall Player of the Day over Rodriguez on a tiebreaker: He had more innings pitched in his game—eight vs. six.
National League Batter of the Day
James Wood of the Nationals hit a three-run home run and went 3-for-5, scoring three times and driving in four runs, in the 10-6 win over the Padres.
