Nationals pitcher Patrick Corbin is Box-Toppers Player of the Game in Wednesday’s World Series Game 7.
The Washington Nationals win 6-2, defeating the Houston Astros in the best-of-seven game series, 4-3, with each game in the series being won by the visiting team.

Early on, Yuli Gurriel of the Astros was leading as Player of the Game, hitting a home run in the second to give the Astros a 1-0 lead.
Zack Greinke took the lead moving ahead of Gurriel’s game score with scoreless innings.
Howie Kendrick of the Nationals took the lead as Box-Toppers Player of the Game with his seventh-ining, two-run homer that put the Nationals ahead, 3-2. Kendrick has a Box-Toppers game score of +2.0, passing the Astros’ Greinke as leader for Player of the Game.
In bottom of the eighth inning, Nationals pitcher Patrick Corbin took the lead as Player of the Game, passing Kendrick. As of the bottom of the eighth, Corbin had a game score of +4.0. The Nationals lead, 4-2.
Corbin held on to win Player of the Game honors as the Nationals extended the lead, winning with a final score of 6-2. Corbin had a Box-Toppers game score of +4.0, highest among Nationals players (3IP 2H 0R 0BB 3K W).
