Dodgers pitcher Tyler Glasnow is Tuesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day, rising to second place in season player rankings.
Also Tuesday, Orioles pitcher Corbin Burnes rises to first place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning American League Player of the Day honors. Plus, Cardinals pitcher Sonny Gray has now earned Box-Toppers points in 12 straight seasons after earning his first Player of the Game honor of 2024 Tuesday.

American League Player of the Day
Orioles pitcher Corbin Burnes struck out six over seven innings, allowing one run, two hits and two walks, in the 7-1 win over the Red Sox.
Burnes earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being AL Player of the Day, giving him 3.7 for the season, rising from 10th to first place in season player rankings, passing previous leader, Royals pitcher Brady Singer (3.0 points), who falls to third place.
Burnes previously led Box-Toppers season player rankings beginning March 28, when he earned 2.0 Box-Toppers points overall Player of the Day. He held the lead until he was passed April 3 by Dodgers closer Evan Phillips with 3.0 points.
American League Batter of the Day
Shea Langeliers of the Athletics hit three home runs and went 3-for-4, scoring three times and driving in four runs, in the 4-3 win over the Rangers.
National League Batter of the Day
Blake Perkins of the Brewers went 3-for-5, scoring twice and driving in three runs, in the 9-5 win over the Reds.
Streak
Cardinals pitcher Sonny Gray has now earned Box-Toppers points in 12 straight seasons after earning his first Player of the Game honor of 2024 Tuesday.
Gray (5IP 5H 0R 0BB 5K W in the 3-0 win over the Phillies) earned his first points in 2013 with the Athletics and now has 98.9 career Box-Toppers points, 92nd among all players since 1995, when Box-Toppers tracking began. He trails 91st-ranked player Jim Edmonds (99.8). Gray ranks 12th among active, signed players and seventh among active NL pitchers.
His best season was 2015 with the Athletics when he had 17.8 points, sixth among AL pitchers. He earned 10.4 points in 2023 with the Twins, 20th among AL pitchers.
Debut
