Mariners pitcher Bryce Miller is Wednesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day, rising to ninth place in season player rankings.
Miller struck out eight over seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks, in the 2-1, 10-inning win over the White Sox. Miller did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because the White Sox tied the game after he exited.

Miller earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 8.7 for the season, ninth among all players and fifth among American League pitchers.

National League Batter of the Day
Jeimer Candelario of the Reds hit two home runs, including a three-run shot, in the 4-2 win over the Guardians. Candelario went 3-for-4, scoring twice and driving in four runs.

Carlos Santana of the Twins doubled and went 3-for-5, scoring twice and driving in four runs, in the 17-9 win over the Rockies.
